A liniment heiress from Minnesota and champion sporting shooter in her state of origin, Grace King Watkins slaughtered innumerable animals while on safari in Kenya. She was proud to initiate her young son into the bloodsport. Author of a big game hunting narrative in the form of a manual intended for hunters in Africa, she also published an album of photographs of her trophies, which she exhibited at the headquarters of the bank her family owned.
